I pack my suitcase and take with me… What? That’s the question! It is hard to decide what to bring with you for one full or half a year. Finding the right host-family can be a little tricky but is perhaps the most important thing if you want to enjoy your time as an au pair. Out of all the things that could have worried me before coming to England the thing I was worried about the most was finding new friends. ARRIVED AT LAST…
My first two weeks in England have also been the worst two weeks in England. It started off quite nice but then a big argument with my host family followed and lead to them kicking me out of the house. I was lucky enough to already know Johanna, another au pair working in Ascot, who took me in for the night. ROUGH TIMES AND RAYS OF HOPE…
You have maybe realised that I haven’t blogged anything for about a week. Unfortunately my time-abroad-fairytale turned out to be a little time-abroad-nightmare! Things like that happen. I started to feel very unwell in my family for reasons I don’t want to specify any further.
